This is my third diesel heater and first one of this design. It's going to sound like I'm being really hard on this review, but it is better than others I have used and way way more portable than my other units. It fired up right out of the box.

This is a all in one enclosed diesel heater ready to go. I opened and unpacked the heater. Filled it with diesel fuel and checked for leaks. Nothing was leaking and everything was working and it took awhile for the pump to prime but I finally got it to fire up and within 2 minutes it's pumping out nice hot air.I checked the hinges, hardware, and the supplied exhaust tube and muffler. Everything fits and again it fired right up once you get the pump primed and flowing. The case is a super nice touch and it feels solid and nice a decent build to it.For the price. It sure beats buying the kit and and trying to assemble it right. This unit is pretty much ready to go.One downside is that the heater doesn't come with a vent tube so you probably have to order one from the various brick and mortar store or here in Amazon.Great diesel heater that works and comes pretty much in a built in case and ready for the cold winter camping.

This all in one diesel heater is great for heating a garage, workspace or rv/truck, as long as you have a way to vent the hot exhaust outside.I made a wood board with a DIY through wall vent using a coffee can and some pipe. This was just for testing purposes while I wait for an aftermarket vent.The noise level is only moderate when starting up, then it quiets down and the ticking slows to a nice rhythm. If you have it going full blast, yes it will have more noise, but it never reaches the sound level of a kerosene torpedo heater.The only tricky part of "installation" is choosing how to route the exhaust and making sure the heat won't damage whatever surface your going through. The box itself could not be easier to use, literally add some diesel and press the power button, in 30 to 40 seconds it will be outputting heat.Differences between this one and the other Hcalory that looks similar:* slightly different dimensions* filler cap is inside the lid* preinstalled 90 elbow on the bottom* burner intake is just a filter on the bottom, no separate hose.* black heater hose not includedBuild quality is great, no loose hoses. The main screen looks good and the remote control fob works perfectly, not a single bad issue.

Did a test in the garage with the doors open, ouside was 16f. 10 minutes and the tent was extremely hot inside even on the lowest setting.
